I got the chance this episode to speak with Dan Schlissel who founded Stand Up! Records and was kind enough to give me a glimpse into the world of Myron Cohen. Once upon a time there were ethnic comedians – comics who made hay from their specific ethnic backgrounds with all the love of a great storyteller and joke teller. This is a wonderful snapshot of a bygone era and a great glimpse into the world of collecting comedy on vinyl.
